Annual Open House- DNR Besadny Fish Station on the Kewaunee River (Misc)
Location: DNR Besadny Fish Station on the Kewaunee River
The open house will take place between 9 AM and 3 PM with guided tours of the facility. This is a must see event. Watch the salmon jump the fish ladder through the underwater viewing windows and learn about egg collection. The annual salmon run is expected to continue through mid-October. Harvest Dinner (Fundraiser)

Location: Suring United Methodist Church
The Suring United Methodist Church will be holding an annual harvest dinner on sunday, Oct. 4 from 11:00AM to 1:30PM. Grilled turkey will be served with all the trimmings including pie. Butterflies & Friends on Parade Auction (Fundraiser)

Location: KI Convention Center
The finale to the Parade will be an auction where the art pieces will be sold, with all proceeds benefiting The Einstein Project, a non-profit school-business-community partnership dedicated to improving the quality of science education for K-8 students in the state. $10 Admission Fee includes light hors d'oeurves 5:00 p.m. doors open - view the art pieces, meet the artists. 6:30 p.m. auction.

Oktoberfest, Kewaunee (Festival)

The Great Pumpkin Train (Event)

The National Railroad Museum’s The Great Pumpkin Train annual fall event offers Halloween fun for the entire family. Get ready to board the rain, ride to the Museum’s pumpkin patch and select your very own pumpkin. Each admission to The Great Pumpkin Train includes a train ride to and from the Museum’s pumpkin patch, where you will be able to choose that perfect orange sphere from the vast multitude of pumpkins. After you’ve taken a ride on the Great Pumpkin Train, there will be a variety of activities for children of all ages. 14th Annual Fall Craft Show (Craft Sale)

Mishicot’s 22 Annual Pumpkinfest (Holiday event)

This celebration of the fall harvest is sponsored by the Mishicot Area Growth & Improvement Committee (MAGIC). MAGIC is seeking entries for our parade. Especially welcome are antique farm equipment, horse-drawn wagons and machinery, and floats depicting the fall harvest season. Volunteers are also needed to help with Pumpkinfest activities.
2nd Annual Oktoberfest at Heritage Farm (Family Event)

The day will begin with spatzle, sauerkraut, and applesauce making demonstrations beginning at 1:30 and continuing until 3:00. The 1876 Czech home will be open, the Blacksmith will be working and there will be other antiques on display.There will be children’s activities, including the decorating of pumpkins . A bake sale of fresh pastries and pies will also be held. The Edelweiss Dancers of Manitowoc will perform at 2:00 and 3:00 in the Threshing Barn. Free Admission for the entertainment and demonstrations. There will be an Indoor Mass at 4:00 celebrated by Father Bill O’Brien with the Clete Bellin Orchestra providing the music. A German Dinner will be served from 5:00 until 7:30 pm. The cost of the dinner is $10.00 . Dancing in the Pavilion from 6:00-10:00 with the “Die Tiroler Musikanten” Band. Admission -$7.00 for the dance . This event is sponsored by Agricultural Heritage & Resources Inc.a 501 c3 Non Profit organization.

History and Halloween come together at Heritage Hill! Children of all ages will enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the park. There will also be mask making, a spooky graveyard maze and our annual costume contest.

The entire Zoo will be filled with festive Halloween decorations, giant inflatable fun will be featured every night and, for the brave, enjoy a horse-drawn, haunted wagon ride through our ‘Freaky Forest’ the first two weekends of the event. Special Moments DJ will be on hand to rock the night away each evening. $8 pre-admission, $10 at gate, Children 1 and under free.
